Disposable guide catheter

The construction of a disposable guide catheter includes a push rod that provides support, an elastic polymer (nylon outer layer), a steel wire woven mesh (middle layer) that enhances torsional conductivity, a soft head with good visibility, and a larger inner cavity. The PTFE inner layer can improve the pushability of the guide balloon.

An ideal disposable guide catheter needs to have the following characteristics: a large and smooth inner cavity, strong support, good torsion control, good shape retention ability, and a soft and visible head end.
